Currently, this game deliberately errs on the side of difficulty/obtuseness, such that I can focus on clarifying only whatever it is that has players getting stuck.

Some components are supposed to come off as confusing at first. If you don't understand what's up with any given element, move on and tackle something else. Areas are not designed to be cleared linearly.
